All about Be an Upstander

An upstander is someone who speaks up or helps when they see others being treated unfairly, bullied or left out. Being an upstander means doing something safe and helpful, rather than staying silent or watching.

You can be an upstander by telling the bully to stop if it is safe to do so, comforting the person who was hurt, reporting what happened to a trusted adult and including people who are being left out. Never put yourself in danger to help, and always get adult help if the situation is serious.
