๐Ÿ’ก Fun fact

The 20-20-20 rule helps rest tired eyes.

All about Eye Care

Your eyes are precious, so look after them. Take breaks from screens every 20 minutes by looking at something about six metres away for 20 seconds. Read in good light, not in dim light, and sit at a comfortable distance from screens.

Wear sunglasses outdoors to protect your eyes from UV light, and have regular eye tests so any problems are found early. Eating a varied diet with vitamin A from carrots, sweet potatoes and leafy greens supports healthy eyes.

Ask an optician or doctor. Children often need checks every one to two years, or sooner if they have problems.

What is the 20-20-20 rule?

Every 20 minutes, look at something about 20 feet (six metres) away for 20 seconds to rest your eyes.
